Pros: Easy to hover, decent battery life, cheap batteries
Cons: Blades chip with everything that hits them, Over control results in Blades hitting each other

Into: The E-flite Blade CX is a $189.99 USD co-axial electric heli. It is good for begginers wanting to learn the controls, but want more of the terror of crashing than a simulator will give.

The good: The Blade CX comes with an 800mah li-po batery (cant remember voltage), and its own charger meant just for this battery. This charger has a very reliable cut off, I once forgot about mine, went to sleep right beside it while waiting on it to charge, woke up 4 hours later aand the battery wasnt even hot, neither was the charger. If you start to crash with this heli, you can just take your hands off the controls, if you are in a large room, and it will go into a semi-stable hover. Also when properly trimmed this helicopter can easily be flown inside, just turn off every fan that is running and you wont have any problems. Another thing that is good, is the ability to change the bodies if you want a different look. Finally this helicopter is actually fairly durable in crashes, especially when it falls from 5 feet or less.

The bad: Because of its co-axial design it of course doesnt handle like most r/c heli's. Another bad part is the original plastic head breaks too easy, so you must buy the $21 aluminum one when you buy it or you will be grounded after a few flights. Wind affects it A LOT, I once had to induce a semi-controlled crash into a bean field after my BCX went up to high and caught a lot of wind. It can be very hard to trim the Blade CX, at least to the point where it stays perfectly still. Also you can only use the Eflite 800Mah lipo batteries on this tiny helicopter. The final bad part I can think of is that it is fixed pitch, and cant do any aerobatics except pirouhettes.

Summary: Overall the Blade CX is a well built, easy to learn little helicopter that comes completely Ready to Fly right out of the box, the only thing you need to do is charge the 800MaH Li-po battery that comes included. In crashes only the blades break. WInd affects this heli a lot making it very difficult to control. If you want something to help you learn or just to play around with in the house when there isnt any good weather outside, then this is your helicopter, it doesnt need much space to fly due to its stable design. For 189.99 USD this is a great little helicopter and I would definetly recomend it for any newbies (like myself).

Pros: Easy to fly, inexpensive parts
Cons:

I purchased this about a month ago and I'm having a blast with it. It's sturdier than you might expect and it's a ton of fun. It is hard to trim out but it's good practice. This is a winner for people who have never flown before. I was up and flying in a day or two.

Pros: easy to fly, no set up required, very stable
Cons: no tolerance to wind, head speed never exceeds 3 mph, not very durable for a beginner heli

My brother got one for Christmas, I was able to land it on whatever i wanted, but a person with no experience still will have trouble flying it. Also when you get out of control the blades hit eachother and either chip or break. My dad tried it and it ended up on my neighbors roof because it wouldn't fly forward because of the breeze, (we didn't even notice the breeze before this) which shows that you need to be careful flying theese outside . It's a great little heli and I highly recommend it to new pilots.

Pros: Easy to reapare, parts are available, hovers well, rtf, great for beginners, gret for indoor flight
Cons: not tolerent to wind

Though the blade cx does not fly well in the wind, i reccomend it for indoor flight anyway.
