Trouble with Tail Spin I have a new Shogun V2. It didn't take too long to crack the plastic OEM tail assembly. I've since replaced with an aluminum assembly. The tail rotor blades are installed with the leading edge turing counter-clockwise when facing. The main rotor blades leading edge are spin clock-wise when facing. Any ideas where to start trouble shooting?

Re: Trouble with Tail Spin Hi mochster I'm not exactly sure I follow you ether. But what I think your saying is that you have the tail blades spinning the wrong way. When you are looking at the Heli from behind with the tail pointed directly at you the blades should be turning so that when they come up over the top they should be coming towards you (in other words if they were to touch the ground it would pull the Heli back at you) If they are not turning this way you probably have the belt twisted the wrong way.

Re: Trouble with Tail Spin Could be your tail gears are not touching good if you have gears after my crash the was the case. Anyway if not check witch way they are spinning or check to see if tail motor if it has one is going out.

Re: Trouble with Tail Spin I am also having about same issue with my blade cp now . Got a new 4-1 and put it in and on ground tail goes left and once off the ground it spins to the right. I managed only once to keep it hovering. Let's just say I broke the tail boom very bad and had worse crash it probably had in along tme if not of all time because of this issue. I am not sure why any idea's on this issue? Sounds like same as person's abovep problem.

Re: Trouble with Tail Spin you have the belt backwards... loosen the boom and remove the belt from the drive gear..."flip it" and you'll be fine..

Re: Trouble with Tail Spin Yes it sounds like belt is on backwards - that reverses the gyro action and causes the heli to spin counter clockwise (CCW). The tail should spin counter clockwise so the leading edge cuts upwards through the downwash of the main rotor and to the rear. Hope this helps......David
