It seems like it wants to be nice and steady lift off when just at the moment it get light on the skids (non HH mode) it spins th the right real fast and I have to shut it down. I know this is a mirror to the other post I made but this is crazy. Is it head speed to fast or too slow? AAGHHHHH!!

Cool Re: zoom spins!!

If you were able to center tail slider and have equal travel in both directions and gyro is working properly then there must be something else wrong.Tail gear housing should be perpendicular and not angled-belt could be too loose or gear slipping on shaft causing tail rotor to lose power.Turn rotor while holding tail [not too hard!] and see if there is any slippage. If your tail housing is changing position it may be too loose and allowing too much slack. It's a good idea to practice on a smooth surface and not get snagged on carpeting. There is also the possibility that something is binding-tail servo rod may be twisted or slider and tail blade holders not moving freely-you could disconnect tail servo rod and operate slider manually to see if that's the case.Gyro should be firmly mounted and straight with no other wires close to it that could cause interference. These are all the possible things I can think of.

Talking Re: zoom spins!! FIXED!!!

OK I recentered the travel by moving the servo mount back 1/4 inch. Now I have gyro reversed and xmit reversed. The adj ARE different and that plus other factors got me snafu'd now its ready to be taken outdoors but of couse its 9pm and dark now but thats ok wait till tomorrow, One other thing , shogun seems to be a hardware thrower. Lost the second tiny set screw tonight. I lock tighted at the set screws on rotating parts with green lock tight. Hope tomorrow to get it trimed out finelly.. thank you all for your help!! Happy Hollidays
