walkera 22e with an esky 4on1 controller

I am having an Walkera 22e (brushless), but also lot of other planes and helicopters and I use an graupner MX-12. The problem with Walkera is their owm transmission format. And i only want is one transmitter with al lot of extra's (not the walkera)

I am testing now an Esky 4on1 receiver (EK2-0702A E005/007), whitch I modified, because normally the channels3 and 4 are not external. The Gyro and mixer board in the receiver i disconnected from channal 3 and 4. An also make an extra 5V connecton to the Gyro/mixer board. I reconnected to the channals 1 and 4. At this moment every thing is working fine (I am in the testing stage and not flying yet!!!)...

Does anyone tried this modifcation before ? Beacause I searched a lot at the different forums but couldn't find anything...

greetings from the Netherlands

Koen

Re: walkera 22e with an esky 4on1 controller

Results test run: The Esky 4in1 modified receiver needed some calibration of the gain...had also some problems with the servo directions on the MX-12...Used my Esky CP-Belt setup...But now it's flying smootly, because of the user defined servo curves in the MX-12....so now this 22e has no walkera electronics any more in it...And I must say..it's really good controllable in home chopper..not so jumpy...
