22E servo prob

Howdy, have 22E and spent hours setting up and crashing etc, nothing too severe but have put it away until I get a bit of practice on a sim. As I was mucking around setting it up with new bits I did notice the servo's on occation did not return to where they should I have checked for binding with the horns disconected and the servo's still perform this nasty little task. Is there a better replacement? or are these little do-dads sensative to crashes and just need to be replaced or lubed?

And yes, I am looking for a better excuse than just my bad flying lol.

Walkera servos are junk and dont center well to begin with and depending on the crash you may have broken teeth inside. I would take one out and bring it to your LHS and see what they have thats the same size. You may end up having to change the servo horn too cause Waklera seems to have A goofy spline size.

Re: 22E servo prob

Even the higher end servos can be rubbish, I would look for metal geared ones if I were you.

The feedback even in an average crash is very severe...of each crash is unique in what gets broken and what doesnt.

I found with the Trex that my aileron/roll servo was jittery...not straight away...but under load...it would twitch...I was blaming the rotorhead setup etc etc...

They were crap servos, wont use them again...metal geared ones for sure next time.

Re: 22E servo prob

The hitec hs-55 would great for that size heli. I use them in my walkera 4 and my walkera 36 with no problem. And they center petty well too.
