| Re: Walkera gyro with good digital gyro Is that servo metal geared as well? That makes a difference in a crash...the metal gears usually survive. The S148 I was using started to play up...the tail was twitching badly so I had to land and go home...replaced it with another servo...digital Futaba 3050 (I think) performs well enough. Crashed the Predator a while back...rebuilding it now. ![]() Rob |

| Re: Walkera gyro with good digital gyro No metal gears but on the tail it isn't a big deal. The S148 is a precision servo isn't it? I have one of them on the throttle on the Cobra. Did it work OK on the tail before it acted up?

| Re: Walkera gyro with good digital gyro No, the S148 is nothing special. It was all I had at the time....the tail started to 'stick' while flying. I think the servo got damaged by the vibes or something...maybe it didnt like the Gyro which I had switched to non digital by the way. The S148 is ok for things like throttle or controlling a camera mount maybe. I would use them on the 30 size helis without hesitation. I use 3001 servos on my Sceadu...they work fine. Rob |
