Please help with pitch probs...

Hi all

Relatively new to the scene, got my self a walkera 36, neat little heli.

I took it out for a maiden voyage which lasted all of 2 mins, when it came down it hit the ground hard (not too hard i thought no damage to start with) but then noticed a ball joint had snapped, so went home and ordered new parts.....

New parts arrive, took it out for another flight and would not lift off.... what i have noticed during set up at home is that when you push up on the throttle stick the pitch servo pulls down creating negative pitch. Why would it do this?? I thought the pitch servo was controlled by the throttle trim anyway? Could it be something loose in the Tx or is the Rx screwed? im right in thinking servos only turn the way they are told to by the Rx (there arnt specific left and right turning servos?)

Should i have a look in the Tx? I didnt want to start dismantling too much without a bit of advice, any advice would be appreciated

Many Thanks

Chris

Re: Please help with pitch probs...

Check the dip switch on the back of the TX to make sure you didn't inadvertently hit one and reverse the pitch channel.

Re: Please help with pitch probs...

Glad to hear it was something so simple. The way they have those switches positioned on the back of the TX makes it to ease to hit accidentally them.
