Walkera 22E Lipo battery

I was tired of the short flight times, so I got a 1300mha Lipo battery. It ran well for about 5 minutes, then slowed and landed. I tried to start it again, but the main rotor wouldn't turn, just the tail. I checked the main motor with an ohmmeter, and it showed open circuit. DEAD. I thought the motor was just old, so bought another replacement (RK-370SD) It did the same thing.

Is the lipo too large? I see the new 22E's are coming with a 800mha battery, so I didn't think going bigger in size would matter. Maybe I was wrong. What do I do now?

Re: Walkera 22E Lipo battery

You can't run a discharge rate over 10c thru the 22e electronics. You may have burned up the receiver.
