Help Please Walkera 60 Blade Holders

Hi, Please could somebody explain how I can remove the main rotor holders from the main shaft. I broke one of them in a massive crash and have the spare part. I have removed the blades and inside the holder can see a hexagonal head I have tried unscrewing which makes the other end spin so have held that with another allen key and just cannot get it off, any ideas or am I doing the wrong thing?

Any help advice welcome....

Many Thanks

David

Well its a good thing that the other end spins and you need a backup to get it off or in your case its really tight! This is also the best way to check for a bent feathering shaft, as your spinning the bolt the blade holders should not move up/down/left/right, Maybe just a little tight, make shure the tools your using are the correct size so as not to strip out the hex head bolt. If you broke the holder i would almost bet the feathering shaft is bent. If bent it will be hard to slide off the bearings on one end or the other. You will have to slide them off each end which will mean holding the shaft in the middle to loosen the end that does not come loose first.

Thank you, but still cant get it undone, the allen keys are the correct size.
To be honest all I have had from this model is problems and from the forums it looks like the walkera 60 is a poor build model. I have bought a twister hawk to get some experience with and can now hover and move around, what would you suggest as a move up so I can fly outside?

hey let me get this straight u r having prob taking the blade grips off, well if u r first u have to take the blades off then alls u have to do is theres an allen srew in the middle of the blade grip loosin them and u should be good to go. if u are using the walkera 60 tool kit i recommend that u dnt bec the stock allen wrenches that they give u strip all of ur screw so u need to get a 1.5 mil allen wrench
