| Walkera 68B I am new to this hobbie. I purchased walkera 68B, have not tryed to fly it yet because with transmitter on, power on heli, motor unpluged the servos moves with out moving any thing on the transmitter. If i move the transmitter close to the heli it will stop doing this and every thing seems to work ok , but a couple a feet away servos start moving. I can move the transmitter several feet away and it will quit, but at this point the transmitter will not make any thing move. All wiring seemes to be ok and every thing is pluged in. There is not any help in the manual. also on the receiver there in nothing pluged in to the batt slot. can any one help with this? |

| Re: Walkera 68B Sounds like either bad batteries in the transmitter or a weak Transmitter signal from something else like a bad conection to the antenna. There shouldn't be anything plugged into the Batt. slot in the RX as it gets it's power from the esc through slot three.

| Re: Walkera 68B Hey there, i also just got a 68b, having so much trouble with it. I had heard from reading all the threads that you need to check the heli over good before attempting to fly so i did this. The tail blades were installed in the wrong direction. On my first attempt the tail belt snapped, i ordered a new one and installed it. Then i found that the tail servo was not set up right so followed the instructions for doing this, when i turned on the heli to bringit out for a run i heard the beep after the servos have calibrated but then there was a weird sound and after inspecton i found that the cotrol arm going to the swashplate was catching in the frame and the servo hadn't enough power to free itself. I managed to sort this out after a while, now after all this time put in and a lot of anger and frustration i decided that it was time to bring it for its first flight. I charged the battery fully and connected to the heli. I took it slowly, when i added power and tried to correct the yaw rudder it was not very responsive. I kept pushing up the power lever and soon it was up at full power and the heli still would not lift. Can anyone help me with this, I have no idea of what is wrong. |

| Re: Walkera 68B Hello, Even though I like the design of the 68 I have the feeling that Walkera puts all of their new people on building it. Anyway you probably need to adjust the pitch curve. You will have to unlock the Dip switch for pitch and then you can turn the knobs on the TX up. That will give you more pitch sooner in the throttle travel and more total pitch. You can use the adjustment to fine tune your rotor speed at hover.
