| Fuel Tank Question Hey All, Sorry if this should be in the getting started thread, wasnt sure where to put this. I have just purchased a Raport 50 V2 SE. Got it all together and running, and in doing a lot of research on flight times, adjusting engine, etc. I seem to be ok... However, my question is.. is there an oversized fuel tank available, or can I add a second header tank (it has one now)? Something to give it more fuel capacity without really borking the flight characteristics, or causing a mid-air stall with a rigged fuel system. Just something to give it maybe 5 -10 mins or so more flight time... Any suggestions? Yes i am a RC copter newb, so please be gentle.... Letum |

| Re: Fuel Tank Question Have you installed a header tank? Flight times will vary depending on engine, setup and flying style. I am not doing any 3D yet and I have a TT46Pro engine installed with a Funtech HN50 muffler. I recently did some fuel consumption checks and it is incredibly frugal. After a timed 10 minute flight I had just over half a tank of fuel remaining plus the header. I guess that I can go about 23 minutes if I wanted to. Normally though, 10 minutes of concentration at a time is enough for me. |
