Difference between 49bb and 29bb raptors

Hi there I have been looking at a raptor 30 kit this will be my first heli but what I was wondering is what is the difference between the 29 ball bearings and the 49 ball bearings? and another question is how do you know what size servos to fit the mounting holes of the raptor 30 do all standard size servos have the same mounting patterns/dimensions as each other?

Lets see, 49-29=20 difference. Just kidding Really, the more bearings you get with the kit the better off you are. Their smoother, tighter, and more precise than bushings. If the 30 takes standards than any standard servo will fit. This may help.

Re: Difference between 49bb and 29bb raptors

The version 1 Raptor has 29bb and version 2 has 49bb. The extra bearings come from doubling up on places that had only one or two before. Like the V1 had only 1 bb on each tail blade grip and V2 added another for each grip so you have two sandwhiched together on each grip.

The added bearings make movement much smoother with less slop.
