| Re: What to buy or not to buy? First of all rc hellis are not toys they can couse injure and damage a 5 years old child i do not think is able to understand the dangers that are involve in flying a helli He can learn how to fly but only under strict supervision by a person that knows how to. As for what to buy if you take the risk i would sugest a dual rotor like esky honeybee lama2 indoor heli, but again even this small bird is still dagerous in tha hands of a very young boy.

| Thanks for the information Old Man. I have another question, if the helicopters are not that safe, are airplanes any safer? I believe he is just wanting something he can fly in the air. |

| Re: What to buy or not to buy? As long as you keep away from the prop and keep the plane away from others property, body and cars you could say that in a way it is safer. Sorry if i disapoint the young man but i still have the marks of my first toy electric heli on my chest. Even the very small foam rc planes sold in toy shops warn that are not for under 8-9 years of age.

| You could get one of those new flying saucers-just goes up and down but is harmless. They cost about $30.00 on HSN or Ebay.
