did you ever wonder why all those aluminum upgrade parts are purple? ever want to buy that part in burnt orange to match your custom painted canopy only to find out that it is not offered in the color you want or need. i had these problems as well. not anymore. i found out how to anodize and color my plain aluminum parts at home. the best part- it won't cost you an arm and a leg. i made my set up for about 175 bux. this may seem like a high price for getting the color of aluminum upgrade part you want, but you must be resourceful. i simply called up all the RC car, plane, heli and paintball guys that i knew and then went down to the locat auto parts store that caters to all the fast and furious gear heads. after i had anodized all the parts they wanted- i actually made about 300 bux- plus i got my anodizer paid for. tooo easy. if you want the original version- visit this page

if you have any trouble/questions feel free to email me and i will be happy to send you the simplified explanaition and even some pictures of my setup(providing that i have my scanner's drivers tracked down by then). the best part about this thing- you can now color those parts that the local machine shop has been making for you- not to mention that anodiing actually increases the strength of the aluminum part. pretty cool stuff- might be a nice money maker if you have a big paintball, gear head following- or even better- if you own or work at a machine shop. if you do- and don't wanna mess with the anodizing- lets put our heads together and make some heli parts. email me at
