Re: Main motor keeps burning

You're quite correct BABY HUEY.
I just checked it out. At $229.98 you can't go wrong.
Thanks for the site too. I'll add that to my "Favorites" list. They seem to be well equipped. I believe I'll be purchasing my radio there too. But I'll stick to the Trex.
Thanks again.

Re: Main motor keeps burning

Just type in Century helis into the search engine you use.

Century is based in California...and is part of Helicopter world...the kits and parts are chinese made as far as I know.

Hirobo is Japanese, they make some fine kits. The 'Shuttle' has been a favorite for many years...the Shuttle plus 2 is the latest version I think.

For the money I like Century, I flew a Hawk Sport for a long time....nice heli. The Predator I have now is one of thier helis.

Yeah, I think the 50 class would be ideal...it will see you from learner to full on 3D flyer if thats what you want to end up doing.

If I was to get another heli I would get the Trex Nitro...followed closely by the Century Falcon if that was my next option.

Well I did it again!
Just bought a Kyosho 30 off of ebay. It's the newer one and needs repair but has a new OS 32 and servos so for the price it was a steal.
Can't wait to get it!

Yes Rob, I did the search and got it, although I did go onto Tower Hobbies site earlier and got them there too.
Maybe it's because of my bad experiences with the Helis, but I'm begining to loose faith in the Chinese made parts.
I ordered parts from Hong Kong and they took forever to reach.

Yeah, I think I'll settle for the 50 as well. The size is adequate enough for me with a 53" rotor diameter.
Ken.

Congrats BABY HUEY.

Re: Main motor keeps burning

Its safe enough if you know the heli and if you have experience with rc helis in general and know what you are looking for.

It doesnt take years of learning either...once you get a couple of helis and get some time setting them up and so on you get the idea.

I wouldnt worry about chinese made stuff...its just where the stuff is made...most of the big names will be getting their stuff made over there in China.

By all means be careful of some online shops based over there, what seems like such a great deal can cost more in the end. Better to try to stick with somewhere within the US or Europe. Once you get the picture and read up on some posts you will get a better idea of the bargain deals.
