| main shaft removal I have a honey bee cp2.... how the heck do you get the main shaft out of it? Want to check it for wobble and bends but for the life of me I can't get it out. I do not want to break everything else trying is a newb question so go easy on me ![]() |

| Re: main shaft removal Cant be certain on a honey bee but ususally there is a screw in where the maingear meets the mainshaft (called the jesus bolt). Release the rotorhead from the swashplate then undo this screw and the mainshaft and head should pull free. Have a looky and if there is one then its likely it otherwise, it might be better take the thing to a model shop or wait till someboby on here with specific HB knowlege can help you. | Re: main shaft removal there is a collar and a set screw below the swash plate. I took the screw out and it appeared to allow the shaft to drop some and the main gear dropped as well but I do not see a way to actually "get it out" |
