Insight before purchase??? Getting ready to purchase a 6 channel, really looking hard at the Belt CP vs the BlackHawk 450. Can anyone provide some insight or guidance here? Other suggestions even? John

Re: Insight before purchase??? I dont know the Blackhawk but I have seen the Belt CP....the Belt looks good for its money...Small electric helis are a bit twitchy to fly...but parts are cheap, generally speaking. I bought myself a MiniPredator which is known as a Falcon 3D in the US...I was suprised at how well it flew for its price...and it was quite stable too. I now have a Trex 450 XL...now the Trex series are good helis...more pricey but you get what you pay for...seriously. I would get an option where you get a 2.4ghz radio set...the biggest hassle you will have is interference with the other systems...clitches are common with electrics...to do with ESC's and motors and other factors...2.4ghz seems to block all the rubbish out. I will get such a radio system for mine...I get glitches sometimes...the Heli just drops like a stone...but usually recovers its signal...makes the heart rate go up though ![]() Rob Ps...if you dont have an RC simulator...get one!!! they are well worth it ![]()

Re: Insight before purchase??? Well...you get what you pay for at the end of the day. The cheaper end heli packages will do the job...but this 'rivals the Trex' stuff is a bit far fetched as far as I am concerned. Getting decent gear is a good idea for the future....you might decide to get something larger..a good radio system will cope with this. I personally use a Futaba T7CP radio....mine is FM...there is a version that is 2.4ghz and has the same layout...ie user friendly. Rob
