Re: RC helicopter from CVS for $24.99 Blue hat toy company

Does anyone have an address, phone, e-mail for Blue Hat toy company? They seem to have intentionally left that from their packaging. I think anyone who had a promblem, like me, shold contact them and let them know our discontent with their product.

a cool thing to do with 2 cannel helis is to tape half a paper clip to the front. This way ur always in forward flight. There really fun to play with this way!

Re: RC helicopter from CVS for $24.99 Blue hat toy company

My hoverlite flies, not very stable. Spinning stops after some tweaking and about 10 seconds of flight. Not a very responsive helicopter.

In the process of gutting a blackhawk toy helicopter (toys r us - $20 USC) and going to install the hoverlite engine/prop and tailrotor. The tailrotor has its own motor and my hypothesis is that the weight of the blackhawk will help ease some of the spinning... not expecting better flight control.

I weighed in the vehicles and adjusted a practice flight with weights on the hoverlight to simulate the weight of the finished product with good results... it could still take off. My biggest challenge will be mounting the fuselage and engine together so they stay together.

I'll try posting a picture/video link when finished.

THAT WILL BE AN AKWARD BEAST! Wait if you take two 2 channel planes and put them together does it equal a 4 channel?- ha i wish! ( make sure you have a video on your first flight so when if catches on fire in mid air like mine did you can show it to all of us!)

I plan videoing the 1st, and probably only, flight. I'm not too worried about heat since it is electric. Maybe some melting if I mount too close to plastic. Can't wait to finish it.

Thumbs down Re: RC helicopter from CVS for $24.99 Blue hat toy company

Hello there fellow suckers

Yes I said suckers cause I am one also and I even got this cheep piece of crap from CVS right after Xtmas and it was on sale for 50% off and that was even way to much to pay for this thing, The first one I got, I took it home and noticed that someone had already flew this one and it even had hair in the tail rotar and the plug for the charger was ripped out of the helo also,
and the piece to cover the cord for charging was missing, After this I took it back and CVS was kind enough to let me exchange it. I wish I had just got my 9.99 back insted, I could have just taken the 10 bucks and thrown it into the street and it would have had the same outcome, So anyway I took the new one home and charged it for like 15 mins and was all ready for my daughter and I to fly it, she is 3 years old and loves this kind of stuff, and I set it on the floor in the living room and started to take off and it tipped over and the top stablizer blade, (The smaller of the 2 main rotars) caught the carpet and snapped the cheep little plastic shaft in two, I thought OMG this is so not happening !!! I will never buy anything ever that has the BLUEHAT company name on it again, If you are thinking of getting one, DON'T YOU WILL BE SORRY...VERY SORRY RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!! save your hard earned cash and If your new to RC helo's. This is what I did, I went on ebay and bought a used one someone was selling for parts and then another, and I got them pretty cheep and made 1 good one from 2 and used a cheep one to train on and this one had actual servo's Not this cheep AIRHOG immatation and even the AirHogs I wouldn't touch with a 10foot pole, you can even go to a local hobbie shop and price one of the trainer helo's and then maby find a new one on ebay, this way you will know how much is to much to pay for one or to bid on one, .......good luck all and happy holadays to all, oh ya and i read someone said this thing takes 8 AA batteries it only takes 6 in the reciever and I use rechargable for everything in my house, saves me mo money mo money mo money...........Final thoughts on this cheezy Helo the SKY SCRAMBLER.......PEACE OUT
