We purchased the Hover Lites from CVS. The first two didn't work. Exchanged them. The next two crashed when landing and can't be repaired without extra parts. This still did not discourage us. We thought that it might have been due to our inexperience. Went and bought two more. These also crashed and self distructed on impact. The grass was really tall (so tall that we couldn't find all the pieces) in the park we were at so they had a soft landing place. Had a light wind which threw off the controls. Not real happy with this rc helicopter. Would like to find something a little sturdier that has a decent price on it.

Re: RC helicopter from CVS for $24.99 Blue hat toy company

Hello everyone new to the page. I work for CVS and have sold three of these helicopter and had all three brought bad for a refund. They had broke main rotors broke tail fins and missing tail gears. I got all three out of the trash and none would fly. Put the parts of all three togather to make one and got it to fly just for five to ten mins. then it crashed now just wating for another one to come back in for more parts lol

2 channel means you only have control of up/down and rotate left/right. 3 channel adds forward/reverse. 4 adds lean left/right. And 6 channel gives you pitch control. Planes take to much space to fly and get to far away for my liking.

Yup, saw that heli at the local 'Rite-aid' pharmacy- of course I had to have it for 'chuckles and grins' and believe me I am grateful for the www.Raidentech.com address- I need parts-(oops, need a rotor hub. Plastic is kinda fragile- had to crash it twice to break the hub LOL ) I thought I had the blades and balancer 'balanced' pretty good- still needed more work when I managed to find the only object in the area to smack into. And I had a serious 'spin' problem I was hoping to work out when the 'Joy Angels' decided to test me. LOL --And they had a clone PicooZ under a different name- Microcopter-fun2fly distributed by Soft Air USA TX. www.info@softairusa.com . The clone flew O K, but has the same problem all of the clones have- the 'leds' are recessed in the top of the XTR and one needs to pay attention to the direction of flight. ( I know,I know, should do that anyways.) I see mods like bringing the leds up out of the 'pit' and adding more leds to give more of a 'signal'. I'm going to give that a try, what have I got to loose? I've purchased several 'clones' to check them out, and for 'spare parts' , you know. This clone was $19.95- Gotta try SVC to see if they have another 'Hover Lite --Rite Aid is out.
