Heli rebuilding advice from a newbie to other newbies

Hi all

As a lot of you know that I was looking for hummingbird upgrade parts, well I did finally find some, but in the process I destroyed the adjustment screws on the 5n1 control unit which is the receiver, gyro, main and tail speed controller, and mixer board. it cost me 103 dollars and some change to get a new one. everything is going will with it now. I just did a servo test, and will do a main and tail motor test tomarrow. So the moral of this story is be very careful with the parts of your heli they are very delicate, and try not to drop them as they are very small and get lost easily.

Re: Heli rebuilding advice from a newbie to other newbies

I have carpet, a two year old and a five year old..... Things turn up missing all the time!!

I work at the kitchen table though, which is pretty big. I also have an assortment of small tupperwear bowls that I keep things in. For metal parts you can also go down to your local NAPA or VIP and pick up a magnetic tray to storeing screws and stuff of the like. I would keep it far from the electronics though, I dont know how a magnet would effect that sort of stuff.
