I too am one that even after years of flight am restrickted to just gentle forms of inverted and normal flight. As for throwing heli's around like that, Even my 12 year old son is coming to a point where he is leaving his pops behind on the Simulator. I don't think it will be long before it is happening for real.
The younger your introduced to heli's the better it is for sure.
I am happy flying my heli's but truth be known I would love to throw it around and still take it home in one peice. But allas I am not that capable either so for now and posably always I'll have loads of pleasure watching those that do/are.

I think the main reason that they can do this kind of stuff and you dont is simply that Id say in most cases they dont have to pay for heli initally and they dont have to pay for it when they crash it. Also they very often dont have to fix it either. Because of this there is no fear and its just another computer game. Dont get me wrong, Im not trying to take the achievement away from them but Id bet more "old timers" would do it if they didnt have any worries about killing the heli. The reason I say this is that possibly the best pilot in our club is a 15 year old. He is so good, we was entered in the 3D masters last year, the thing is he crashed his heli 15 times last year, and every time, dad rebuilt it.

Theres another reason I bet us "old timers" like to watch smooth flying just as much as the stick bashing.

Just think if you could fly like this kid. He's 4 years and 5 months at time this video was taken. One day I'd be glad to fly like this 4 year old. Bet you'd never hear a 32 year old say something like that often. Kyle is awesome, but this kid if he keeps at it will just ruin everyone.
