| Am I crazy Got a Blade CX--love it!!--but--something strange------the motors were winding up for lift off ------ I went to grab my antenna to pull it up and I noticed that the motors slowed down--when i let go the motors speed up--this happens every time i do this---why should placing my hand on the antenna slow the copter down? |

| Re: Am I crazy The TX sends a string of 4 pulses, each one having control over something on the heli; pitch, roll, yaw, motor speed. These are sent over and over. The width of a pulse determines the setting of a control on the heli. Holding the antenna places an unusual load on the TX, which messes with the power supply, which may change all the pulse widths. Or, the signal to the RX was degraded enough that it misread the pulse. I don't know which, maybe some of both. Anyway, I'd suggest not touching the TX antenna when it's on. The output transistor might overheat and die. |
