| whats with haveing two blades hi i am a newbe want to buy a heli and was wondering what the diffrince is between the helis with two blades v.s. the helis with one ![]() |

| Re: whats with haveing two blades Hi dude the helis with 2 blades dont use a tail rotor and are much much easyer to fly but in my opinion that arnt a real helicopter well not one thats capable of 3D flight anyway .Ive seen 5 year olds fly the twin rotors with ease straight out of the box. |

Thats true but Ive seen an 8 year old fly a raptor better than most adults can do it. My opinion on the contra rotating twin rotors (for what its worth) are that they are an excellent learning tool and lotsa fun to fly in the house. (I still fly mine). The controls for these models are exactly the same as their bigger brothers and if you learn on one of these, the jump from this to a model with a tail rotor is not huge. Also they are easier, and they cost less to fix. Plus they are crash resistant (No tail rotor to bang into things taking out your heli) Hope this helps.... Azzy
