shuttle z

Hello everyone i am new into the hobby, and several years ago i purchased a assembled shuttle z. I have no instructions and was hoping to get some help here and get this thing in the air. I need a radio and gyro. I would like to not spend a fortune on a radio but something that would allow me to upgrade to other choppers(basically a radio that would last me awhile).I would like to find anyone in the ky area that could help me get this thing going. Any info you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated.. also need info on a good gyro

i can"t help with shutle z since i don't realy know that machine
but as for the radio if you plan on sticking in the hobby than you will need to get a good one ,the fun part is if you dislike helis
cant imagine why it can be used for planes, sail planes and even a boat...a BOAT booooring.
they are $$$ but you can save on the gyro all you need is something good that will help you learn to fly and later if you get hooked and you will you can upgrade later and even the heli might go for sale so you can get a bigger heli.
