| Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator/FS9 I believe it is possible to get interface devices which read the signals from a TX and convert them in to USB joystick inputs for the computer. Whether you can get one for your particular TX i do not know the answer. The question really is why would you want to interface your TX with FS9? If it is to gain model flight experience you may be better getting a model flight simulator such as Reflex XTR, Realflight, or FMS (which is free). If you just intend to use your TX to control FS9 then you might be better to get a joystick which better replicates that of a real aircraft. Just my opinion... Azzy |

| Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator/FS9 FMS is not a bad 'sim' if you are on a budget or are just curious as to how RC helis/fixed wing models fly. If you are half serious then FMS will cater for your needs....but if you want real progress then a decent sim is what you need.....I use Truflite 3D which is ok and does what it says on the tin....with a more powerful PC I would love to get Realflight G3 or Reflex. Thing is is that sims still have a place for the established heli flyer....different stunts/flying routines can be practiced without silly risks being taken which might smash a real model. I would say that Realflight would be the best value...comes with its own 'transmitter' ? Rob |

| Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator/FS9 realflight is great but if u already have ur own tx "futaba,jr,hitec" then reflex is proolly ur best bet these 2 are very great sims but there is sooooo much minor detail in reflex it is such a beaut to look at. but def. dont get me wrong id get ne. their both great sims. i think with realflight g-3 youll get more models cause at the knifeedge fourms people make models for realflight such as blade cp stuuff like that but of course u need certian expansion packs to be able to unlock some certian sizes or makes g-3 charges u for expansion packs reflex dosent. long run reflex is cheaper graphics are outstanding if u have the money invest in t

| Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator/FS9 Guys - I am most probably the most Computer Savvy here - I have been using FS9 for the past 3 years and have a very nice graphics card, I built the system my self. What I am asking is how you can use the TX WITH FS9 not with any other as I do not plan to buy any other! ![]()

| Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator/FS9 http://www.ripmax.com/Images/Handboo...6_HB2003LR.pdf This will provide you with what you are looking for assuming you have a game port, you can get it and your walkera tx is compatible with it (which I doubt). If youve been using FS9 for so long you'll know how unsuitable for training in flying models it is (for the record I have FS9 and have had it since the day it came out). So it really comes back to what you are trying to do. Get an inappopriate joystick for a full blown flight sim or get an inappropriate sim for learning to fly model aircraft BTW I think your comment about being the most computer savvy here is pretty presumtive since I know for a fact your not the only person in the forum who has built their own PC. (Ive built at least 15 of them too strangely enough) Oh yeah, and some of the ppl here also work in the IT industry. |
