performing funnels

Hello there,

anyone got any resources on how to perform a funnel ? or can explain in short how it should be done. Im trying to do this on realflight sim but I dont seem to grasp how it is done

not sure what this is ,is it when the heli sort of stands on it's tail
and spirolls downward like a tornado shape ????

exactly... in the mean time I managed somewhat to figure out how I think it is done:

forward flight, raise collective to a +- 50 degree angle and left or right cyclic while applying opposite rudder to keep the tail pointed down...

well.... thats my idea

but its sure quite difficult to perform

comments or tips ?

sorry for late reply just been realy busy with the house of commons coming to and end this means i'm on vacation
for the summer lots of flying coming up.
what your doing sounds about right i manage to do it on the sim in idle up and with a little pulling back on the stick as well but still slam in the groud every time
perception is weird on the sim

let's keep practicing i'm sure we'l get the hang of it

the " funnel" or " wall of death " is a remote nose in or tail in circuit with a very high angle of attack. its ment to been done inverted tail in, if you dare!!!!
