| PLaning ahead question. Im starting to get ok at very basic flight with my little electrics. I plan to get a gaser of some sort but want to think and plan and save to do it right. my gass rc background is limited to some .049 planes and that was years ago. 1 What is top picks for engens 2 kit or build from ground up (I have built planes from scratch) 3 what size for just flying for fun 3d is in that plan 4 Is 9chnl realy needed or will less work 5 what fule type is best nowadays 6 and what gyro is best on larg birds 7 most imprtant what kinda mint do i need to save for this Oh ya I want to know what not to put on too.

| Re: PLaning ahead question. My opinion, 1. OS engine-proven engine 2. Build it-you know how it works 3. .50 - More stable and you'll end up wanting a bigger bird anyway. 4. Less will work, I have both for my choppers, one a fubt. 9ch and the other an optic 6, and you know what, when I fly the optic I cant tell the difference. Whatever you buy make sure it has idle up, and 5 point curve. 5. I don't see a real best. The major brands are all good. 6. All major Radio companies make good gyros but my guess is futaba is used the most 7. Go here and price out a bird http://www.heliproz.com/ |

| now hmm im no nitro pro but in recent reads many many pros recommend the .60 also jr makes good gyros also and i think cool power is one of the widley known fuels?
