Where to from Walkera Cylone ???

I plan on staying in electrics . If I were to buy another that would satisfy me growing fully into and staying happy with what would you vets reccomend? T-rex ? Is the walkera 35 worth the bucks or just a cheap imitation of the t-rex? Thanks Much >Darrin

Walkera Is Worth **** Unless U Upgrade It By That I Mean

Get The 36

Get Brushless+esc Setup.
Change Radio Dso U Dont Get Glitches
Get Metal Or Hard To Break Blade Holders...
And U Should Be Set But See...alll Those Upgrades Cost More Than The Heli Itself So Id Just Suggest Go With The T-rex-- Best Out There In My Book:d

Re: Where to from Walkera Cylone ???

mate..
.the 36 which is vertually a trex as blackhawk has pointed out..if you get one of these i would look to changing at least some of the electrics ..it doesnt have to be done all at once you can do it a little at a time...(if you got the cash then do it all at once )if you get the trex most of them come in kit form so you will have to build it from scatch not a bad thing if you want to know your heli from top to bottom..also with the trex you will have to provide servo's rx and tx(transmiter and reciever) also gyro...you can get them rtf(ready to fly )but obviously this is gonna cost more..the 36 will come ready to fly just have to set it up and charge the battery..its very much a case of personal opinion versus cash flow....there are quite a few more on the market these are just two helis....but whatever you buy half the fun of this game is to personalise your heli to your own tastes....as for the dragonfly 35 i bought one to start...wish i'd have bought the 36 instead(i have one now)..i chose the 35 and 36 because the parts for them are very easy to get here in the uk and on the web...and over here they dont cost the earth to buy
take from this what you will

blackhawk
iv'e had me 35 for quite a bit now and never had the shutdown problem....until TODAY...but what i noticed straight away was that when i normally fly it indoors its ok but i flew it outdoors today for the first time in ages...the weather was fine but quite damp...i powered it up and just as it took off ...dead..nada..everything stopped...powered back down tried again blades spun up to full power it did it again...dead,so i took it back indoors and tried again it flew perfectly no probs until i hit the wall and did a shitload of damage R.I.P 35

Re: Where to from Walkera Cylone ???

I'm wondering if atmosperic conditions have anything to do with the electrics playing up on heli's it was quite damp and cold...
