3D Master World Championships 2006

its not that far from sunny wolvo so i might take to the motorway and venture up there...to check it out....

It's amazing, hundreds (nearly a few thousand) come from all over the world from as far as Israel, Norway, the States etc for 3 days of competition and demonstration flying - the demo field is free to watch and there's full catering and a bar every evening - the flying in the dark just has to be seen to be believed!

I live 3 miles away and it takes place next door to my mum's house

I am off there for the weekend this year, I nearly went last year and now wish I did as Curtis youngblood retired after competing last yr. Anyway after seeing alan szabo and Danny szabo's flying recently you can bet I aint going to let anything change my mind this year.
The competition is awsum and the flying skills will leave any of us lesser pilots wanting. I am already saveing for it.

Curtis will be there again this year - he is going to be judging and doing demonstration flights..

Are the 2 brothers the guys from Isreal, one of them was only 14 last year?

If so, then they are worth the trip (I know I can just walk there from here ) alone to see them in action.

Now these pilots I have been watching for yrs on the net. Now to see jr fly at 16yrs was just awsum but now I honestly believe that the championship will be his this year.

guys if we are going we will have to meet up somewhere it'll be nice to put the faces to the names so to speak..im lookin forward to it....theres also a rc plane and heli show coming up at west park just outside wolvo on june 5th and 6th, i went last year it was enormous and some spectacular rc planes and helis also loads of trade stands....
