Re: first hover in ages

sure: even though I am too a newbie at this just stay low at first and dont try to go very high up in the air. stay kind of low. and learn the controls of your transmitter and you will get better at reactions.

Re: first hover in ages

Been 2 weeks, now i managed to get the heli off the ground and hover just about 1-2 feet in the air. At times it still run all over the place. Try to get it stay at one place. Thanks for the advise.

Re: first hover in ages

Best advise anyone can get is to buy a simulator.
You will master the controler, you will be able to turn and respond with out thinking.
I have about 20 hours on my sim, I can fly the sim great! So no question about it, it has made a HUGE difference in my abilty to fly my Raptor.
No questions asked it has saved me at least one crash...

Re: first hover in ages

I am new as well and I also use a sim, right now I am doing well for only 60 days into the helis world . I have a Cp Blade with some upgrades and will soon be looking to get my first gaser. I will also say take the time and checkout this link it helped me quite a bit. Good luck guys.....
