Pitch/Throttle curves

I have a JR Ergo 60 Z230 gas powered heli. Right now, I have the pitch curve set up at -2, 5, 10 for low, middle, and high stick respectively. The problem is that it doesn't usually take off until 75% stick. I've adjusted my throttle curve to use 12%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 100% even though the manual said to use 40, 50, 60 for the three middle points. This improved the situation some in that I had more throttle earlier in my pitch curve. Is it safe to adjust the throttle curve even higher for the three middle points to atain lift off at 50% stick?

.the easyest way to set up your pitch curve so that you take off at half throtle is to set your pitch mechanicly using both your heli and transmitter at the same time.First make sure that the pitch curve on your transmitter is linier 0 at bottom stick50 at mid stick and 100 at top stick. Thenyou must set the throtle/pitch stick to the mid point or hover point then by either increasing or decreasing the pitch control rods set the pitch to six degrees at mid stick using your pitch guage.
Once you have got the pitch set like this you can start with a linier throttle curve and increase or decrease the points of the throttle curve to get your headspeed correct hope this helps

you should also make sure that the carburator is at 50%
when the throtle stick is at mid point a good way to
achieve this is by having your servo arm at 90 degrees
when alf stick and adjust linkage to get 50% on carburator
do this mechanicly first then fine tune with radio
this should make things easier

fly well
