| Re: YS vs OS Hi Janne, What I’ve heard and seen is that the YS engine is an engine to highly consider. The engine is easier to start than the O.S. Janne, I currently have an OS 91 and to start it, let me tell you, I have to bring out my gas powered starter just to get this thing going ![]() Also, The YS runs as smooth as the OS 91 w/pump. In a few weeks I should be getting a YS 91 and I can’t wait till I get my nitro smelly hands on it. Well, good luck on whatever engine you decide to get. See You At The Field, Valentine |

| Re: YS vs OS Hi Janne, Both of these engines are pretty damn good, though they both have problems! The OS likes the Mid-Range, the YS prefers bottom and top end. From what I hear, the YS is much easier to start than the OS, and some beleive that the YS is 'overall' a smoother engine. Best bet is to see them both in action at a club, speak to the pilots and see how they feel. If it was me, I would buy the O.S. ![]() |
