SCEADU 30 & FF9 SETUP

Hi,
I am new to this forum,so hello & please can someone help!
I have just got back into helis after a long break.I have bought a complete never flown setup from a guy who unfortunately got no help in setting up his heli & gave up.
It is a sceadu 3o with futaba ff9 radio gear.
Having flown helis before I started from scratch & have set up the mechanics of the swash plate. It is not the 'conventional' type with the control ball links 90 degrees to each other, but it has the elevator balls inline with the boom, front & rear but the aileron ball is 45 degrees back from the rh side(from behind).I have been told some of the sceadu 30's came with this swashplate.None of the preset swashplate settings in my ff9 overcome the problem I have when operating the elevator. The nearest swplate 1 seems to almost work. The collective pitch is ok,the ailerons are ok,but when the elevator is operated, forward or backwards tilts the aileron swashplate very slightly, because of the position of the 45 degree ball link.Has anyone an answer.Please!!.Thanks in advance.

Re: SCEADU 30 & FF9 SETUP

I am trying to understand the discription that you gave but am having trouble. The field force 9 is a very good radio and it has lots of settup options for the swash plate,
Is there any chance that you can post a picture of it so I can see it? I use the FF8 which has similar settups so may be able to advise you when I see it.
