| There are many fantastic gyros on the market today, I would recomend the GY 601 by futaba, This is a very good gyro you will need a good servo to run it though and it does cost. If you are a newbie I would stick with the lower cost gyros so you dont lose the money due to crashes, In this case the PG 01 pro is a good gyro but does not have the heading hold facility that the 601 does. the advantage with the pg 01 is you can use a normal servo and it dont cost so much. I learnt with a PG 03 in mine it is the step down from the PG 01 but as long as your heli is settup properly and you dont start going out in strong wind till your used to flying it is a very good start point. you can then get the more expensive gyro when your ready, There are lots of gyros though. So do some reading and make a choice. I'm sure you will be happy with most. ![]()
