Bad shake at hover

I have new TT Titan 50 with TT Redline 53engine.An all metal head, carbon blades and 611 gyro. I tracked blades and leaned engine and checked main shaft for bend but the darn thing has a very bad shake during hover. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks Oh I also dont see any wag caused by gyro and the shake is there in normal mode(on gyro)or AVCS mode.

More info!! It seems to shake on its way down or at hover. giving it steady up lift it does not shake. weird.Ive messed with gyro gain alot and that doesnt seem to help.

Could be the engine rev range? try upping the range at mid stick...dial in 55 percent or something like that.

The blades are tracking ok? ie if you hover and look at the tips...you shouldnt see two sets of tips...this would indicate 'out of track' check your manual it should tell you how to sort this out.

Hi Tim,

Hawky could be right on the engine thing, you might be getting a harmonic vibration.

What direction does it shake?... is it a tail wag, or a nodding?

Im no expert on Raptors but the Sceadu suffered from a similar sort of problem when the feathering spindle dampers wernt lubricated properly. It might be worth pulling the spindle out and getting some silicone grease into the dampers and spindle. Thats the first thing that comes to mind...

The next thing that comes to mind is something is cracked or loose in the head so that when its climbing the cracked part is being held closed (in the right place) when its hovering and desending, the crack is being opened up allowing the blades to go out of track. Check the head with a fine tooth comb and at each pivot point in the head, put the component under a little bit of stress to see if a previously invisible crack opens up.

Thanks guys!! Its more of a nod than a wag. I also have a full metal head on it. And blades are tracked. I will try to adjust engine speed first, after I put on new blades and tail boom. You see I was doing an auto and as it was about to land there was something laying on ground so I attempted to get bird back up in the air and I thru switch back to normal and the bird went spin crazy. I was unable to save it and it crashed into a tree.So now Im gonna have to post a new thread on this new 611 gyro. I am finding it very hard to understand the instructions with it compared to a 411 gyro. It has too many options and I cant seem to tell the right settings. Anyway thanks for help you guys are very helpful.

Its gonna be one of the following:

Blades to loose
Blades to tight
dry head dampers
different blade weights
quarter stick pitch or throttle curve is to low(most likely the problem)
