| unbalanced ?!?! hi guys, i bought a dragonfly about a week ago and took it to my local strip (santa pod raceway) ive been flyin model aircraft for a good 7 year now, and had my first go with a helicopter. i have always been lookin forward to flyin one (or tryin) i done quite well havin 3 succesful flights before CRUNCH, not quite sure wot happened but it "span" or as aircraft flyers call it "yaw" continuiusly. and i couldnt get control of it, anyway moving on it smashed the Swash plate ? (i think its called dat) and one rotor. i have replaced dese but when i get to about half power to lift off it vibrates very badly and its not possible to fly it like this. is their any ideas of why it will do this and how to solve it ?? thanks very much |

| Hi D, Listen, I cant be sure without looking at it myself but I think you could have bent the main mast. If it is bent then when you turn the main rotor by hand or with the heli switched on, The top centre will create a circle instead of remaining in one spot. You can also check that the flybar is straight and the paddles are level. this could also be damaged in any crash. The flybar runs at 90% to the main rotor and has little paddles on the ends. One other thing you can check is that the tail rotors are straight and not chipded or damaged. If you need any more help just ask. Good luck Darren
