Question Esky stock gyro question

I have the stock gyro in the Belt-CP and was looking at the swash plate after replacing the feathing shaft, (motor disconnected) touched the gyro and EVERYTHING moved! All the servos did their OWN thing! I don't believe this is normal

I then touched the wires coming out of the gyro and the servos again did their own thing! I also hear (and it is really hard to describe, but sounds electral??) a noise when I move the sticks or move the tail. Again, I don't think this should be happening should it? Unplugged the battery and then pushed down on the wires coming out of the gyro, plugged the battery back in and now it doesn't activate everything when I touch either the gyro or the wires.

After reading about gyros and all, I was thinking I should replace this one and get a Heading Hold one? or should I just replace withe the stock kind that came in it? (or not worry about it and do nothing?)

Oh - yes this is my first helo and I have yet to achieve a hover, but have had it off the ground and SAFELY back down again - what a rush! Gotta get th hover thing down! Thank you //Bill
