| Re: honey bee king 2,drifts left at take off, help I assume that you mean that the whole heli drifts and not just the tail so... Make sure that the swashplate is level when the controls are centered. You may have to adjust the linkages to achieve this. Because the tail rotor pushes the heli that way you may have to lean the swash alittle to the right to counter .

| Re: honey bee king 2,drifts left at take off, help Helis that have a tail rotor will do that. If the main rotor turns CW then the heli will want to spin CCW and the tail rotor blows air to the right to keep it from spinning. But that also moves the entire heli sideways to the left. This is called the "translating tendency" and they all do it. You just have to establish a slight right bank after takeoff to prevent this. |

| Re: honey bee king 2,drifts left at take off, help Hello, I'm a newbie also but a great researcher. I found alot of problems could be answered by watching the setup video's on you tube. There are seven in all and they are excellent help and will get you going. Just type in honey bee king 2 setup and you will be able to watch this guy with a heavy accent show you exactly how to setup the hbk2. |
