Question wth. help!

ok i just got my heli-max axe cp fixed from a recent accident ( i replaced to central hub and the swash plate assembly). So i put those pieces in, tightened every thing down, checked every thing, then i wen to my back yard to test it.

i plugged in the battery and i hear a small noise coming from a servo. I ignored it and stepped back to test it. I slowly eased on the throttle, i finally got to full power and i still did not get lift off . so i thought to try the other controls with it at 1/4 power.

The tail rotor worked fine. Then i tried to lean it to the left. It suddenly lifted off the ground. So in a panic i killed the throttle and landed safely. Puzzled, i brought it to around 1/8 power and tried to lean it to the right this time. As soon as i did that it started to bend the trainers, as if i was giving it - throttle.

so i then decided the look at it with now power then i tried leaning it to the left, the fat part of the main rotors started to point up slightly. then I tried to the left. It made the fat parts face down drastically. so i disconnected the motor to see if the rotor blades would turn like normal. They did turn up, but only very slightly. The only thing i can think of is if one of the servos are messed up. can any one help me ??

NOTE: i split it up kind of randomly so it didn't seem so over whelming, because i tend to make a story out of everything

Re: wth. help!

One of the servos is broken by the sound of it, quite possible if the rotor has hit the ground at some time...the feedback of forces can easily bust the plastic gears within the average servo...I would replace if I were you.

Re: wth. help!

You can get metal geared mini servos...they are supposed to be worth the money.

Might check this out myself.

Re: wth. help!

Which servos do you recommend and how much should I pay for them?
