Flight Controls I was toying with the idea of buying an E-sky Belt CP so I was checking out the manual online. The description of the flight controls has me a bit confused. On my E-flite helis, the left stick controls the throttle and the rudder, but according to E-sky's manual, for mode 2, the left stick is throttle and aileron. Is this correct? And if I didn't want to re-learn how to fly, could I just switch the rudder and aileron connections to the Rx?

| Re: Flight Controls Hi there, As far as I know throttle / aileron on the left stick is mode 1 (unless somebody else knows different ). Provided the heli has a proper rx ,it should be simple enough to swap the aileron and rudder channels. Hope this helps... Azzy

Re: Flight Controls I did some research into Transmitter Modes, so for anyone's future reference, here is what I found: Mode 1 -- Left Stick: Elevator/Rudder Right Stick: Throttle/Ailerons Mode 2 -- Left Stick: Throttle/Rudder Right Stick: Elevator/Ailerons

Re: Flight Controls I just got a beltcp and the manual instructions are set up for their country. Operating control instructions are in mode 2 but the belt comes setup in mode 1. Good luck Chris

Re: Flight Controls My Belt came with instructions for both mode 1 and mode 2. The heli was set up properly for mode 2 (left throttle), but the manual incorrectly described the controls.

Re: Flight Controls Your transmitter should support both modes, dependant on the setting of a switch inside it. Once you've switched modes, it's a simple matter of swapping the throttle ratchet on one stick with the return spring on the other so that they stick or return as appropriate...
