Blade cp pro shakes First post, but here is my problem. My cp pro shakes when I idle it up to take off, I mean really bad. I replaced the main shaft, this was my first guess as I have bent these a number of times, so I know it isnt the problem. so I took the head off and checked out the bar between the blade grips, it was bent pretty bad, so I fixed that. and put it all back together. with the blades off and just the flybar on, it doesnt shake a bit, but as soon as I put new blades on it shakes badly. So now I have no idea. so any help would be appreciated.

Re: Blade cp pro shakes Check to see if the blades on bottom are going the right direction. Also make sure they are for bottom. Do the same for the top. The blades have there own r to l and top and bottom markings. One rotates one way which is clockwise and other counter clockwise. Check to see leading edge is going the right direction on top & bottem.

Its your feathering shaft anytime you hit your blades 90% of the time that well bend. Also check main shaft these two well cause it to shake.

Re: Blade cp pro shakes There is very likely something wrong with one of the blades (or both). One of them probably weighs slightly more than the other which would cause shaking. Also it is possible that you are screwing the blades down too hard and that they are not in the right position. I have found that with the cp you dont even need to tighten the blades, if they are loose enough centrifugal force will pull them out into the perfect position for flight. Also check that your flybar paddles are at the same pitch and that neither is pointing the wrong direction.

Re: Blade cp pro shakes True blades should not be tight. But any time you have a blade strike the shaft well bend. Also the main shaft. Haveing the blades loose well help this ploblem.
