Angry Please Help set with walkera 60

Last year I bought a Walkera 60, I have upgraded the battery but not the motor or speed controller. I do not have a pitch controller or would know how to use one if i bought one...doh!
I have not even managed to get it off the ground it has spun around in the field a few times but never made it airbourne!!
In doing so I have caused considerable damage and have replaced those items, including the fly bar, tail boom and tail rotor.
Please can someone advise me on which switches I need to have in what position on the transmitter and how I can get the thing in the air or do I just give upand get one that is easier to fly and if so what do you suggest?

Any comments are welcome before I go mad,,,lol

Thanks

David

Re: Please Help set with walkera 60

hello have you still got the manual if no you can down load it off the walkeras website

make sure the motor is secure and is right up to the main gear the same thing happend to mine it wouldnt take off when i looked at it the motor had moved away a bit so it was sliping

to increase your pit value and limit value you need to switch no.10 on the back f your transmitter on position led light becomes blue put the v1 + v2 knobs to 0 position
tuning the v1 to the + end increases the pitch value and tuning to the - end decreases pitch value

same again v2 knob pitch limit value then when youve finished switch no.10 off to lock it. wot this does am not to sure as am a newbe but thats wot it says in the manual

also try this
switch on transmitter and hely leave the motor off put the throttle stick half way then switch the hely and transmitter off then look at the servo bellcranks and ball linkage making sure they are 90 degrees and check the swash plate is level heres a diagram i drew well tried to draw! lol hope this helps
