Question need help finding helli

I am just getting started and have looked around ALOT I thought I would get a walkera but then read alot of intell saying this was not a good idea. Then I thought about the Raptor G2. I have read some things on this saying that it will not get up with the stock brush motor. Anyone out there have this same trouble. Is there a true out of the box (excluding the start up checks of the nuts, bolts, and such) that I can buy to get going. I bought a simulator and have been putting in a lot of hours and I think I am ready to get started. I do not have an instuctor out here so I am gonna have to run it on my own but any advice you guys could give me would be a big help. thanks for any input you sling my way.

Re: need help finding helli

I like the look of the Mini Predator....in other places its probably known as the 'Falcon 3D' (I think) in the UK it retails for about 170 sterling which includes radio and charger...the stock battery is Li Po too which is a bonus....the other types with Nimh are not that great.

Good move using a Simulator....very good idea....get as good as possible on the twitchiest heli you can fly.....the smaller electric helis can be quite hard to control...which can put you off.

If you have the cash to spend I would take a look at the TRex series of helis....pricey but you get what you pay for.

To get some idea of the Mini Pred and the TRex...try YouTube....theres quite a bit of footage there, good luck.
