Hi everyone this is my first post and am sure will not be my last. I recieved my honey bee king 2 today!!! However the set up seems very erm short with no real details?. Also it came with no hex or allan keys so i could tighten the main and rear blades as you know they are loose. (we do tighten them dont we?) So set up: I charged the battery and pluged it into the heli, Then!! the red light blinked on the gyro but then the main blades turned which caused much panik between me and my friend>>> is it normal the blades spin on set up with the transmitter switched off? we thought it was going to take off!!!!! so we turned it off and erm jumped on this forum... also how should I have the transmitter set???. I am sure there are many threads about this so sorry but if you can point me in the right direction that would be fantastic, thanks in advance everyone!!

Re: HONEY BEE KING 2 setup heeeeelp!!! I too am very new to this hobby, I havent even left the ground yet, still getting used to the machine on the ground & am in no hurry to get it up & crash it on 1st lift off. But you cerntainly dont power up the heli with the transmitter OFF!!!!!!. Power up the transmitter 1st, make sure throttle is at minimum position, then power up heli. Switching off is heli 1st, then transmitter. Good luck & be careful.

Re: HONEY BEE KING 2 setup heeeeelp!!! I just ordered my first CP heli, which is the HBK2 . Anyway, the above poster is correct, never turn a heli on without the transmitter being on. The red flashing is "From my understanding" gyro and transmitter sync, it flashes when it has no signal.a CP heli is usually a bad idea for beginners, but to answer one of the questions. The blades arn't supost to be 'tight', the advice I usual give is. Tighten them, so you can lay the heli on its side and they won't move but if you give the heli a swift jerk, they should then flop down. The blades naturally center when the main rotor spins. I made the mistake of tightening them too much first time, ruined the heli from vibrations and constant crashing.
