Question Tower pro 9g Servos cables too short 36#

Well, The servo cables are half the size of the original walkeras. So back in with the old servo's. Apart from the tail!

Is there an extension of some kind I can use?

Mickey

Edit: Would a local hobby store carry extentions in stock? or would Maplins be the place to go? I'm based in the UK.

Anyone else had this?

Limo

Hello yes you can get extension leads they are abot £2 from model shops but I have just bought 10 for £4 deliverd from ebay so I would try there first.
yes you are right about the tower pro servos the leads are shorter than most other servos.

With some repositioning of the servo leads around the motor, I was able to get them all to fit nicely!

I'll upload a pic in due course, However, I'm still not able to fly due to tail wagging!

Best Wishes

Mickey

Hi Mickey,

Which gyro do you have? Some of the walkera gyros have to have the sensitivity turned way down to keep them from wagging the tail.
I have a G001 that even turned all of the way down is still too sensitive.

Hope this helps,
Neil

Me also, I am using a G006 and it works very well in mormal mode. I have not sorted out AVCS mode yet and probably won't because I've purchased a heading hold gyro and just have not gotten to installing it yet.
That will probably be one of my next posts to get help setting it up! LOL

Good flying,
Neil

Let us know how it goes! I'm just a bit scared of crashing and burning after all the upgrades and setups! I have the G006 in normal mode too. I did another "wealk around " today and its good to go in my opinion. So come Saturday morning, I'm going to find some space away from the laughing public and give it a go. I'll keep you informed!

That's my problem too! Once I get these things to fly straight I'am too scared to take chances!
Getting better though.
