Cool Remote Mine!?

ok, I play Paintball and I was wondering...

I am going to purchase a Paintball Mine and I got to thinking.... Maybe! If there were such a thing as just a single servo reciever and radio I could buy and set the servo on the mine so that I could make it into a Remote MINE!! any ideas? maybe theres something better out there I could use? Just looking for some ideas. looking for something small with only 1 or 2 AA batteries. A radio with a Red Toggle on it would be cool too :P

thanks all

look on U-Tube for the helicopter gun , they actualy mounted a 12g shot gun on a heli that is fired by servo , you'll need to know the ounces of presure required to pull the trigger , servos are rated in ounces of lift with a one inch servo arm

Re: Remote Mine!?

Yea, I'll figure that stuff out after I can find just a simple 1 channel reciever and radio. Its not going to be attached to anything but the mine. Also, I want a small radio so that I can just throw it in my pocket and run. thanks tho bigdog

Re: Remote Mine!?

If you want a real laugh, type in 'potato gun' in YouTube....I have such a device and they are great fun....but only use potatos or fruit....anything heavier is bordering on dangerous....which is where the fun and laughter will stop....even with potatoes you must be careful...point blank range can kill or maim someone.

You would need a serious rc heli to haul one around

Re: Remote Mine!?

I'm not trying to put this on my Helicopter. I'm just looking for a radio to detinate the mine and a servo and transmitter to actually push the mine to trigger the explosion. anyone help??

the more I think about it the easier it seems, you use two way radios with head sets to comunicate , simply hook the servo to the head phone jack , or any output jack , the servo only requires 4.0v to actuate , a simple spring return mechanism would allow for multiple shots , simpley cueing up one radio would fire the weapon , there's probably something I'am missing , but I know I'am on the right trackyou would need three AA batteries to get 4.5v or one 9v would work, I keep thinking paintball gun sorry , it still would pull a pin on a grenade, setting up a paintball gun would be fun too though , making them think the cave is guarded would be cool.
