Re: What is wrong with my walkera 36

Thank you and good luck. I am about to scrap my flying ambitions very soon, too much money into 2 3d helis, one fixed pitch that now wont stop wobbeling ane one flight simulator and I still cant fly more than 10 seconds.

Better luck to you

i know this might sound basic but on the walkera 36 (which i own one ) if you place the battery pack in to far on the brushless motor it will rub and slow it down so you in fact are not at full rpm and like i said it may be basic but more than one person has made that mistake with the battery and not noticed it right away , and like the other guy said check your pitch set too low and you wont take off . and i love flying my waldera 36 its a really nice chopper...i hope you find the problem and get to enjoy flying yours ..and do you know what the most important tool for any rc helicopter is ? ? ? patience bud patience

Re: What is wrong with my walkera 36

Hi guys,

I thought I might chime in on this subject. I it possible to make a 36 fly with the stock brush motor and battery but the pitch has to be perfect
If you bring in the pitch too soon the motor will bog and the esc and battery will overheat! If you bring it in to late the rotor will speed up and at most the Heli will just barely jump of the ground
So... The brushless motor is the only way to go but watch the enternal bec in the esc because they can overheat and cut off in flight
Anyway after all of this you will find that a properly set up 36 is a joy to fly and very durable once you train it to stay in the sky

Don't give up,

Huey
