JR Schweizer 300 Pitch problems

hey yall, great web site.
i hav a JR SCHWEIZER 300 IN 30 SIZE AND IV SET IT ALL UP AND BEEN FLYING AROUND FOR A WHILE.
MY PROBLEM IS OR WELL NOT PROBLEM BUT A LIL ISSUE IS THAT IN THE MANUAL IT SAYS TO SET IT UP AT 0%= -2, 50%=6.5, and 100%=8.5. WHEN I SET IT UP LIKE THIS THE REVS WHERE WAY TO HIGH. AT THE MOMENT THE ENGINE IS RUNNING A LIL RICH AND MY SETTINGS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
0%= -2
50% 10
100%-15
IS THERE A MAJOR MUCK UP IN THE MANUAL OR IS THERE SOME THING WRONG WITH THE CHOPPER ???
ANY HELP/ INFO WOULD BE GREAT THANX YALL
Jesse

I think there is something wrong with the way you measure your pitch.

15 degrees? That would have stalled the blades already.

For most helis, 5 deg is about the hovering pitch, and this is also about 50% throttle.. so you manual is quite correct.

At the 100% throttle, most of us use about 10 to 12 deg at most. Size 30 engines will not push the blades at 12 degs very well, and you will hear the engine bogging down at max throttle due to too much wind resistance.

10 degrees in middle and 15 at full is too much your pitch should be around -2~-1 0%, 5~7 50%, 8~11 100%.
shorten the pitch rods!
