| New Gyro Setup Question? Hello all, I have an Esky Honeybee Fixed Pitch Mark 4 Helicopter with a stock setup. The gyro is included in the 4-In-1 Receiver. The first question I have is what the proportion screw does? I have 2 screws, the Gain and the Proportion. I do know what the Gain controls, but I have no clue what the Proportion does. Any help there would be awesome. Another question I have is weither or not I can upgrade to a head lock style gyro. Esky supplies a head lock gyro, but its not specifically set up for the Honeybee 4. Can I somehow bypass the 4-In-1 Gyro and install a head lock gyro in its place to help stabalize the tail? If this is possible, how would I go about Hooking up the wires? Thanks in advance! -Phil |

| Re: New Gyro Setup Question? Hey Phil, proportion is called mix on my Hummingbird V4. It adjusts the rpms of the tail motor relative to the main rotor. In order to install a HH gyro on the beast, I believe you'd need to replace the receiver and ESC as well (maybe just the ESC - I'm not sure). Take a look at the Century website. I know it's not your machine, but one of the changes from the Hummingbird V3 to the V4 was that they added a 4n1 on the V4. The V3 had a separate gyro, but I'm not positive how they controlled the tail rotor speed - if memory serves, the ESC had a mixer on board and an output for each motor. V3 parts are still available, so it should give you an idea what you'd need to get.
