Parts availability for the 68B

Greetings all,

I'm awaiting delivery of a Walkera Dragonfly 68B, and while waiting I've been reading about what I'm getting in to. Looks to me like this is biting off a good bit of challenge, and I expect one of the issues I'll need to have resolved is just where to buy replacement parts in the US.

At this point I'll be content to make sure everything is mechanically proper; mainly in terms of blade pitch, balance, tail rotor alignment. To do that I need a pitch gauge and a good gram scale. The scale is easy, but where and what do I look for in the gauge?

I'd also like to know the spares I'll likely need, and where to get them, following the crashes which appear to be inevitable. I do intend to go slowly in figuring this thing out; probably tether the machine for a bit and use training gear. Unfortunately, a sim is probably out as I'm using a Mac, not a PC.

Any ideas you folks might offer to help me avoid painful experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks much,

Re: Parts availability for the 68B

I have ordered some spares from http://www.hooobby.com
(Havent received them yet)

They have excellent prices, but shipping is
Ok, if you order for more than US$20, then the price difference of the parts often covers the entire shipping
